#MusicMonday (4/2/12)

by BwaySpotted

#MusicMonday is a trend that started on Twitter over a year ago. A lot of people used it for a while and then it started to fizzle out. Well, the problem is…I liked it. I liked it a lot. So, I kept it up on my Twitter and decided to keep it up when this site started up as well. You wanna get something stuck in your head? This is the place to do it. Whatever is stuck in MY head on Monday, ends up in this post. Check back each week for more catchy tunes.

Monday Monday Monday! There is a song in Pipe Dream (which I saw last night) about Thursday, but today isn’t Thursday, so I’m not using that song. Instead I’m using a song called “Tide Pool” for my #MusicMonday. Why, you ask? Because it’s absolutely ridiculous. No, really. Have you heard this song? If not, feel free to download it here. It’s worth the .99 cents just to hear someone say the phrase “son of a fish” that many times.

Okay, I lied. I actually have “Nothin’ Like a Dame” from South Pacific stuck in my head. It’s one of Rogers and Hammerstein’s BETTER works. Not that Pipe Dream isn’t good.

Okay, it isn’t good. Here, have some South Pacific, instead!
