Surprise! We’re giving away a copy of Staged the sequel to Showbiz which we read last summer during the Broadway book club. Ruby Preston was kind enough to give us THREE copies for you guys. Why? Becaaaause, we’ve decided to have a surprise spring break edition of the Broadway book club! Yaaay! I hope you all are as excited as I am.
We’ll be doing the book club after the winners get their copies, so if you don’t win one of the three copies we’re giving away, click the link above and grab your own and start reading!
How can you win?
Simple!
1. If you read Showbiz (Ruby Preston’s first book in the series) tell us what you’re most excited to find out about in Staged by commenting below. (Be sure to include your twitter handle if you have one)
2. If Showbiz and Staged were being made into a stage production or a movie, who do you think would play Scarlett and why? Tell us in a comment, or in a tweet using this format (you can use any form in a comment, this is for tweets):
I think ______ should play Scarlett in the show or movie, because __________. @broadwayspotted
3. Introduce a friend to the #BwayBookClub by tweeting about our Spring break edition!

Sadly I haven’t read Showbiz yet (the library doesn’t carry it yet, boo, and I’m kinda poor)
, but I’m dying to read both it and Staged!! Both look totally up my theatre-lovin’ alley.

Maybe we can talk Ruby into adding a give away of Showbiz to this? But I think there is a very reasonably priced e-book, too!
I haven’t read Showbizt, eithing (just went to the top of the list) but one thing I ‘d love to find out is why there aren’t more novels that take place on broadway, it’s such a fascinating part of the city with it’s own unique culture.
I’m working on making that happen! Hopefully I’ll be able to add my book to the list soon
Anne Hathaway because she’s fabulous!
Finished SHOW BIZ at 3am this morning. Couldn’t put it down. With STAGED, I want to know if/how Scarlet & Reilly get back together. And I’d like to have a deeper look into the producer world now that Scarlett is hiring and firing.

I’m excited for Staged to see if Swan Song makes it to Broadway and to see if Scarlet and Reilly get back together.

Want to know how the relationships turn out & how they influence the show… (and I also agree that it’s amazing there aren’t more novels set on Broadway!)
Loved Showbiz last summer even though I couldn’t read it on the bookclub time table…can’t wait to get into this book to see the progession of the show and characters
I think that Katherine McPhee could play Scarlet because she could play a character that changes into a woman who fights for what she believes in
