Dream Cast: Tangled

by BwaySpotted

More than anything, when I see something I think could or should be a show, I love to speculate about who would play what roles. I love the way casting works and I love sticking my favorite, ultra-talented people into shows! Play along with me as I make everything you can imagine into a Broadway show. I wouldn’t be BroadwaySpotted if I didn’t live in a musical world!

Rapunzel — Mandy Moore                           Mother Gothel — Bernadette Peters

Flynn Rider – Chris Mann                        Young Rapunzel — Madeleine Rose Yen

Hook Hand Thug — Marc Kudisch          Short Thug – Christopher Fitzgerald

King — Brian D’Arcy James                                  Queen — Kelli O’Hara

  1. Natalie says:

Uhh, I cannot be the only person wondering why the hell DONNA MURPHY isn’t Mother Gothel…

  2. Brooke says:

What about Donna Murphy? She was Mother Gothel in the movie.

  3. Aly says:

Love your cast, but wouldn’t Katie Rose Clarke be perfect as Rapunzel?

  4. Daniel says:

My personal suggestions would be Allie Trimm for Rapunzel and Carmen Cusack for Mother Gothel….

  5. Luis says:

PERFECT CHOICES!!! Bring Chris Mann to Broadway!

  6. kaitlyn says:

Zachary Levi as Flynn. His voice is so beautiful.

  7. eve says:

this two are perfect, too for rapunzel and fynn:

    they’re musical-stars in germany,singing tangled during a musicalgala.

  8. Alyssa says:

If Tangled ever does go to Broadway, these actors will be too old to play teenagers. I think you should rethink this with a younger cast. Kids ages 13-17 will be the right sge if they start doing readings and tryouts.
