Spotted: Broadway Star Sightings

While at the Hedwig and the Angry Inch lotto this evening, we spotted a former Rock of Ages and Spider-man star, Justin Matthew Sargent! He was trying out the lottery with some friends and was thrilled to pose for a picture. He said that he’s never been “spotted” before so he was very excited we were excited too, Justin!

The final group to host Broadway Bakes this year was the Disney Duo, Adam Jacobs and Courtney Reed! The two of them star as Aladdin and Jasmine in the Tony nominated show, Aladdin and were happy to pose for a spot for us before greeting the line of fans that went out the door and down the block!

Saturday was the final day for Broadway Bakes and the first hosts for the afternoon were none other than the cast of Title of Show! The group of three was so excited to meet the fans and posed for a couple of pictures for us. Susan demanded that the group does a “smize” picture and a cute one  

Right after seeing the Newsies boys, we spotted Ciara Renee about to grab some food after the show today! She was kind enough to talk with us for a bit about Broadway Bakes and how Pippin was going. She was looking fabulous and we had to get a pic of her! Thanks Ciara!

While out enjoying the sunshine today, we spotted a few Newsies doing the same! Clay Thomson who is in the show for a limited time, Jeremy Greenbaum who stars as Davey, and freshly announced newcomer Nico James, previously of So You Think You Can Dance fame! While live streaming Friday’s Broadway Bakes, we spotted Emerson Steele who stopped in to get some cookies before her show tonight. Emerson is making her Broadway debut as Young Violet alongside Sutton Foster and Joshua Henry in Roundabout’s Violet. She was so excited to be spotted and posed for us! Congrats on a great job, Emerson!
